Sister School
Kanazawa Commercial High School is the sister school of President William
McKinley High School.
On September 23, 1983, an agreement was signed between then principals Richard Sakamoto of President William McKinley High School and Tokihiro Hirano of Kanazawa Commercial High School establishing the first sister-school relationship between schools from Hawaii and Japan.
Kanazawa's English language students and staff have made annual visitations since 1984.
The 20th year of the sister school relationship was recently celebrated.
